Purposes and legal basis

Abaco Asesores processes the personal data submitted through the contact form for the following purposes:

1. To respond to your information request or professional enquiry (legal basis: pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject, art. 6.1.b GDPR). 2. Management of the contractual relationship once an engagement letter or service contract is signed (legal basis: performance of the contract, art. 6.1.b GDPR). 3. Compliance with legal obligations in tax, commercial, employment and anti-money-laundering matters (legal basis: art. 6.1.c GDPR). 4. Sending of informational communications about regulatory news or services, only if the data subject has given express consent (legal basis: consent, art. 6.1.a GDPR).

Data processed

We process the identifying and contact data that the user provides voluntarily: name, email address, phone number, occasionally tax identification numbers (NIF or NIE), and the content of the message. No special categories of data are collected through the website form.

Retention period

Data is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and, in any case, for the periods required by law: 4 years for tax matters, 6 years for commercial matters (Spanish Commercial Code), 5 years for employment matters and 10 years under Law 10/2010 on the prevention of money laundering. Once these periods expire, data is securely deleted.

Recipients

Abaco Asesores will not transfer your personal data to third parties except where required by law (Spanish Tax Agency, Social Security, Mercantile Registry or other competent authorities). To deliver the service we may rely on data processors (web hosting providers, email platforms and management software) acting under contract with the safeguards required by the GDPR. International transfers outside the European Economic Area are not carried out without adequate safeguards.

Your rights

You are entitled to access, rectify and erase your data, as well as to request restriction or to object to processing, and to data portability, on the terms set out in the GDPR and the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
